Magic: The Gathering’s Throne of Eldraine set was developed with a top-down philosophy, which means that the concept of the set’s world was defined first, and then individual cards and mechanics were designed to fit that concept. As such, fans should certainly expect fairy tales to permeate Throne of Eldraine to its very core, from its artwork to its keywords, and Wizards has already offered a taste of this through the images shown at Comic-Con....

The final week of February 2022 Magic Arena events are now published alongside the early March events, and it should come as no surprise that Kamigawa is dominating the offerings. The upcoming Magic Arena calendar is jam-packed with Kamigawa activities, but there is some variety, so hopefully the offerings have something for everyone. Usually each new Magic: The Gathering set features cards that utilize evergreen mechanics like Flying, First Strike, and many others in addition to brand new cards that introduce mechanics that have never been seen before. That is still the case with Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, although it seems like there is only one new mechanic being introduced. That said, it’s a pretty major one that adds a brand new card type to the game, so it’s wise to take a closer look....

Among those who voted for Trump in 2016, a quarter agree that he is no longer fighting hard to stop the spread of COVID-19. However, opinions are divided along political party lines. While more than 70 percent of Democrats feel strongly that the president does not care about containing the outbreak, almost half of Republicans disagree. The national online survey of more than 1,000 registered voters found that 52 percent of Americans also feel strongly that Trump wants what is best for himself over what is best for the country....
