Skiles played five seasons in Orlando in the early 1990s. As a head coach, Skiles has a 443-433 record (18-24 in the playoffs) with the Suns, Bulls and Bucks. He last coached in January of 2013, when he and Milwaukee mutually parted ways.

The report said the Magic also talked with Clippers assistant and former Knicks head coach Mike Woodson.

The Pelicans are also interested in Skiles, according to ESPN.com.
